The ICF allows you to do your 10 required Mentor Coaching hours either through an individual program, or group program.

All 10 sessions 1-1 with your Mentor Coach.

7 sessions with a group, and 3 sessions 1-1 with your Mentor Coach.

How does a Mentor Coaching call work?
Let's break it down.
1Record a client session
You'll record an audio clip or video file of a coaching session with a real client. (With their permission.)
2Send it to your Mentor Coach
You'll upload that file and send it to your Mentor Coach.
31-Hour Call
Your Mentor Coach will coach and mentor you on your coaching in the recording, and you'll leave with new strategies to advance your approach.

Individual Mentor Coaching Package
10 sessions, 1-hour each
All sessions are 1-1 with your Mentor Coach
Custom Scheduling Options:
Common options include once a month, over 10 months, or twice a month for 5 months. We will adjust and come up with a custom schedule that meets your timeline and preferences. We can also offer a fast track option.

Group Mentor Coaching Package
10 sessions, 1-hour each
7 sessions with a group, and 3 sessions 1-1 with your Mentor Coach
Group Mentor Coaching is a great track if you are someone who likes to learn from the experiences of your peers. In our 7 group sessions, you will get to know other coaches and build community as you navigate the process of applying for your ICF credential.

What is Mentor Coaching?
The ICF defines Mentor Coaching as:
"Mentor Coaching for an ICF Credential consists of coaching and feedback in a collaborative, appreciative and dialogued process based on an observed or recorded coaching session to increase the coach’s capability in coaching, in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies. Mentor Coaching is a required part of your ICF coach certification application. The ICF requires coaches to complete 10 hours of Mentor Coaching, over a minimum length of time of 3 months by a qualified Mentor Coach."
How do you apply to the ICF?

ACC or PCC - which applies to me?
The big differentiator between ACC and PCC is number of training hours, and number of coaching hours. Here's the basic breakdown (below). Also if you're overwhelmed - just book a free Intro Call below and we can demystify it together.

I have to record a client call?
Yes - although this is way easier than it can sound. We'll talk about your options for this, and you'll feel super prepared.
Who can be a Mentor Coach?
You are required to have been mentor coached by a coach who holds an ICF ACC, PCC, or MCC Credential with the ICF.
How is Mentor Coaching different than Supervision?
Supervision is a way of working together to process things that might come up in your sessions with your clients, and talk about how you are doing as a coach. Mentoring is coaching solely to develop you as a coach.
Does it matter which country I'm located in?
All coaching is done via Zoom or the phone, so you can be based in any country, or traveling throughout our engagement together. Current clients are based all over the world.
